Urgent Appeal For Gaza 2021

Gaza has been under siege for more than 14 years. The continuous blockade means its residents can’t travel in or out of the city, have limited food imports, and their water is unfit for human consumption. The prices of everyday essentials have increased immensely. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and fuel, building supplies and more are only allowed in, in very small quantities.
Gaza is the world’s largest open air prison, housing 2 million prisoners, many of whom are children who have lived through 3 wars, and have literally never set foot outside the derelict city they call home.
Residents now face power outages for 22 hours a day, daily attacks on the city, and to top it all off, Gaza is now suffering a Covid-19 outbreak leaving the most densely populated city on earth, trapped in a city wide lockdown.
Although these resilient people are not in the media every day, we need to remember that Gaza has been and continues to suffer greatly, and its people deserve our ongoing help. SARD are on the ground all year round offering assistance to the patient, and long suffering citizens of Gaza.
